Ambassador

MILOŠ PERIŠIĆ

Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of Angola,

also accredited on a non-residential basis to the Republic of Namibia,

the Gabonese Republic, the Republic of Equatorial Guinea,

and the Democratic Republic of São Tomé and Príncipe.

He was born in Valjevo in 1982. He completed Valjevo Grammar School and graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade. He passed the Bar Examination in 2008.

From February 2006 to April 2007, he worked as an assistant on the projects of the Ministry of Justice and UNDP: “Strengthening the System of Misdemeanor Courts in the Republic of Serbia” and “Establishing an Independent, Reliable and Functional Judiciary and Strengthening Judicial Cooperation in the Western Balkans.”

From February 2007 to December 2007, he served as Project Coordinator for the Ministry of Justice and UNDP project “Creating an Effective and Sustainable System for the Provision of Free Legal Aid in the Republic of Serbia.”

From March 2009 to November 2009, he was Head of the Department for Property Affairs and General Administration of the City Administration of Valjevo, after which he joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

He completed the “Koča Popović” Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in July 2010.

Within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he first worked in the Visa Policy Department until September 2011, and then served as Consul at the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Baghdad, Iraq, until July 2013.

From August 2013 to July 2018, he held the position of Chargé d’Affaires at the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and from July 2018 to April 2019, he served as Consul at the same Embassy.

From May 2019 to October 2020, he was Acting Head of the Department for Africa and the Middle East in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia.

Since October 2020, he has served as Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of Angola.

He is the recipient of several awards and scholarships granted by the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade (Saint Sava Diploma and the Radomir Lukić Fund Award), the University of Belgrade (Luka Ćelović and Milivoje Jovanović Foundation Scholarship), as well as the Austrian Government and European Movement in Serbia Award for Outstanding Students.

He speaks English and has a good command of French.
